Ok Gypsies…I have recently joined forces with Amelda from Closeup Makeup & Hair and Katelyn from Katelyn Rew Photography to offer you the most luxurious photography packages on the coast.  Come to the markets and get a glimpse of what we’ll be doing….makeup touch-ups to look your prettiest for the night out, test shoots to make you feel like a model and styling by me with east of grey and our specially selected vintage garments to give you a one-of-a-kind look your friends will froth over!

east of grey will be at MIAMI MARKETTA with No Formula.  We will be selling lots of cool stuff, one-off pieces, vintage pieces…shoes, bags n belts as well as dresses…have a few embroidered blouses at the moment too…perfect for Summer just around the corner.  There will be local bands rocking our ears off, local food vendors filling our bellies….falafel pockets, cupcakes and pie….I think I will get a crochet bikini top from my friend Ange at Lovebird…

Come and see us 23 Hillcrest Pde Miami 5pm – 10pm….great starting point for a Friday night!

So i got a new cd, it’s by Jimmy the Saint and The Sinners, they are great!  We went to see them live at Elsewhere, in Surfers Paradise, hence the new cd.

So it happens that we weren’t even going to see Jimmy the Saint and The Sinners, we were going to see Adam & Dusty, the support band, Emily is in the band.

I don’t know how to describe them both, upbeat, indy rock/country, very cool, go see them.

So we all wore east of grey, even Emily, the kid dress, she rocked it!

Wednesday 15th June.  east of grey was honoured to be part of the GC Business Ready2Wear @ Sanctuary Cove and we have the professional shots to show you.  Fashion TV was there filming, haven’t seen the clip yet but I’ll show you when I do!  Can’t wait to see it.

What an exciting 2 weeks, so much has happened for east of grey.

-  a feature in the Gold Coast Bulletin about ‘Learn to Sew Workshops with Kim Bailey’.

- a location for the sewing workshops – Lisa’s Designer Fabrics, Unit 2, The Brickworks Annexe, 19 Warehouse Road, Southport, just behind Ferry Road Markets.  Saturday workshops will run for 4 hours, 11am – 3pm.  I am still mobile as well.

- now stocked @ BusinessGC Fashion Incubator

- showed a mix of the Frenchie collection and Ballerina on Horseback collection at the St Hilda’s High Tea Fundraiser.  Scored another pic in the Gold Coast Bulletin, yeah!

- showed the newest collection from east of grey, Regulators, at BusinessGC Fashion Incubator Ready2wear fashion.  Look out for it on Fashion TV.

And another exciting 2 weeks to come…another photoshoot, a launch to organise and a new collection to finalise.
