Are you confident with the basic sewing techniques but want to advance your skills?

This workshop will introduce you to the sewing techniques used to construct garments.  You will learn more about casings and hems and be introduced to zippers, patch pockets, waistbands, buttons & buttonholes.

You will be introduced to general skills and techniques such as topstitching, attaching interfacing, bagging out and construction of a mock fly, while refining the skills learnt from the basics workshop to ensure you have a thorough knowledge of all techniques.

Items you will sew:

Kim will travel to your home/workplace and teach you on your own machine. You can learn to sew one-to-one or in groups, minimum 3 people per group.
Workshops are run over 4 weeks, one 2 hour session per week for 4 weeks. Workshop sessions are carried out during the week, day and night.
Workshops are also available on weekends, one weekend day for 6 hours.

One-on-one Workshop – 4 weeks:  $300+GST
Price per session = $75+GST
One-on-one Weekend Workshop – 6 hours:  $280+GST

Group Workshop – 4 weeks:  $160+GST
Price per session = $40+GST
Group Weekend Workshop – 6 hours:  $140+GST

20% deposit required on booking.  72 hours notice for cancellations.
