Are you starting out or needing a refresher in sewing?

This workshop will introduce you to your machine and it’s parts including stitch selection and thread tension, fabrics and the grainline, tools and equipment used, how to thread your machine and wind and load bobbins. You will be introduced to general skills such as pinning, laying up and cutting the pattern, straight and zig zag stitching, reverse stitching, pivoting, circular sewing, seam allowances, pressing, hems and casings.

Kim will travel to your home/workplace and teach you on your own machine. You can learn to sew one-to-one or in groups, minimum 3 people per group.
Workshops are run over 4 weeks, one 2 hour session per week for 4 weeks. Workshop sessions are carried out during the week, day and night.
Workshops are also available on weekends, one weekend day for 6 hours.

One-on-one Workshop – 4 weeks:  $280+GST
Price per 2 hour session = $70+GST
One-on-one Weekend Workshop – 6 hours: $250+GST

Group Workshop – 4 weeks:  $140+GST per person
Price per 2 hour session = $35+GST per person
Group Weekend Workshop – 6 hours: $120+GST
